Multi-Phase Landscape Architectural Services to Complement Country Club’s New Facilities

Client: River Forest Country Club | Location: Elmhurst, Illinois

River Forest Country Club, located in Elmhurst, Illinois, wanted to modernize the club’s amenities with interest in both multi-generational sports and great golf. The club asked Weaver Consultants Group (WCG) to provide a phased planting design that would blend the recently constructed facilities into the context of the club’s existing facilities and course. In the first phase, WCG designed the landscape plans, providing screening, focal points, and seasonal plantings to accentuate the club members’ experiences around the pool deck, bathhouses, parking lot, caddie shack, driving range, pickleball courts, patio, cabana house, and various areas of the golf course.  WCG also provided presentation exhibits, construction administration, and bidding services for the club. The second phase included implementing the same planting styles, stone outcroppings, and under drainage to enhance the clubhouse entry, porte-cochère, locker rooms, and pro shop.
