The Village of Manteno decided to make use of the vacant space at Thies Park by adding new recreational amenities for the community. The Village enlisted Weaver Consultants Group (WCG) to provide engineering, lighting, and landscape architectural services for their phase II master plan. The new amenities include:

• Picnic and restroom shelter
• Four pickleball courts
• Two ADA-compliant pickleball courts
• Two bocce courts
• Shuffleboard court
• Bags court
• Two sand volleyball courts
• Synthetic turf t-ball and wiffle ball field
• Great lawn area for events and soccer
• Seating and shade elements
