Client: Illinois Medical District Vertiport | Location: Chicago, Illinois  

The Illinois Medical District Vertiport is a unique, privately operated aircraft facility located on a 10 acre site on the Near West Side of Chicago. The Vertiport services the medical, private business, and commercial helicopter and tilt-rotor aircraft serviced business sectors. The Vertiport was designed based on the Sikorsky S-92 helicopter and Bell-Agusta BA-609 tilt-rotor aircraft. Weaver Consultants Group performed the Civil Engineering design as well as Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, Soil Remediation, Project Surveying, and Geotechnical Engineering. Extensive pre-development services we also performed on behalf of the client to assist in the planning, zoning and utility relocations required for the project.
