A 30-year-old townhome community’s landscape was overtaking the neighborhood and was overwhelming their management budget. Weaver Consultants Group (WCG) worked with the landscape committee to develop a five-year master plan, which included framework, achievable goals, key strategies, and phasing. Due to site erosion, drainage issues, invasive species, and changing growing conditions, the landscape’s health had deteriorated. By prioritizing needs and wants with budgets and resources, WCG was able to produce a clear plan to bring back the community’s aesthetics and landscape functionality.  The goal was to inventory the entire landscape throughout the 12.7-acre site, assess its function, value, and condition, and then provide analysis and determinations. WCG provided the necessary analysis and recommendations to the committee, helping them understand how to better use their landscape maintenance budget and how to proceed.
